• Is it possible to use this treatment when you sometimes have seborrheic dermatitis?

Yes, no problem. You should not apply the treatment to the scalp.

• Is one kit enough for long hair (up to the shoulder blades)?

Yes, provided that you follow the application instructions given in the leaflet.

• How long does the effect of the treatment provided by the MY Keralova kit last?

It all depends on the treatment you are going to do (Botox or Smoothing) and especially on how you feel (i.e. when the regrowth bothers you). Generally we recommend 3-4 months.

• Which iron should I use to perform the My Keralova treatment at home?

You need a straightening iron that goes up to 230 degrees, and that can maintain a constant temperature. BE CAREFUL , the GHD brand is not suitable for straightening hair because it is a styler. If you have damp hair, it will drop in temperature. Whereas to achieve quality straightening you need constant heat.

• I have some mixed product left over from my straightening treatment, can I keep it?

Yes, you can keep it without any problem.

• How long does it take to achieve your straightening?

It takes on average between 2 and 3 hours depending on the length and mass of hair.

• For a Brazilian straightening, do you only need to use Keralova?

As indicated in the instructions, you must first apply the Unilova clarifying shampoo, then the Keralova and then the Aminolova treatment, it helps to rebalance the PH to enhance the smoothing.

• For smoothing maintenance should I use Unilova or Nutrilova?

Only Nutrilova should be used for maintenance. Unilova is the clarifying shampoo that prepares the hair for straightening.

• I have a Steampod brand straightener, is it possible to straighten my hair with it?

Yes, you can do your straightening with it, but you should not use steam on the day of the straightening.

• For smoothing maintenance, should I use the Marc Grays range?

You must apply treatments adapted to smoothing, we recommend the products in our range to enhance your hair. 🥰

• I need to bleach my hair, should I do your treatment before or after?

Ideally 8 to 10 days later.

• I have frizzy/afro hair, is it possible to use this kit?

Yes

• I had ombre hair done 4 weeks ago. What clarifying shampoo should I use?

You have to take Nutrilova.

• Is it possible to use the kit as a treatment without it straightening the hair?

Yes, using only Aminolova.

• Can you use a GHD straightener?

No, it is not suitable.

• If I touch the root during application, what happens?

If you have scalp sensitivity, this may cause a slight reaction. This is why you should not do root straightening.

• Nutrilova, is bottle No. 4 the right post-straightening shampoo for maintenance?

Yes.

• I have a Babyliss Pro, what temperature should I use the iron to straighten Afro hair?

On natural hair 230 degrees.

• How long after straightening can you color the roots (white hair)?

7-10 days after treatment.

• How much Keralova smoothing can you achieve with 100 ml when you have hair below the shoulders?

It all depends on the thickness, you can do between 1 and 2 smoothings.

• What is the price difference between a home kit and a salon service?

Our My Keralova kit costs €69.99 and in institutes the prices range from €180 to €400.

• Can you get straight hair sticks with your kit?

We do not guarantee a stiff baguette because our treatment does not modify the structure of the hair as a straightening treatment could do. On the other hand, your hair will be relaxed, it will be easier to style and you will have to make a brush for a stiff baguette.

• How many times should the plates be passed?

It will depend on the smoothing power you want. You will find the information in the guide.

• Can we use another range of shampoo, mask after using the kit?

Yes, but you should avoid products containing salt. I highly recommend our maintenance range.

• Can this be done on extensions?

No, it is not possible on extensions.

• Does this straightening lighten colored hair?

No, if you follow the protocol indicated in the instructions carefully.

• Does this kit work for men?

Yes, it is suitable for both women and men.

• What's in your kit?
